Lannie Flowers is a gifted songwriter and talented musician. Growing up and playing on the Texas bar circuit in the 70's, he eschewed southern rock and instead cut his teeth on Badfinger, The Raspberries, Mott The Hoople and Alice Cooper. All of these influences are here in abundance.

The record picks up where Same Old Story (his previous masterpiece - run, don't walk, to get it) let off - with a full length version of Circles that delivers very friendly power pop jump start. Mr. Flowers lyrics still appeal to the teenager in all of us and are consistently intelligent throughout. There are many highlights but I'll name three - Around The World, C'mon Over and All Dressed Up - the latter being the best song Alice Cooper never recorded.
